Walsall boss Dean Smith says West Brom striker Saido Berahino should follow the example of Romaine Sawyers.
Berahino is at war with his own chairman after the Baggies refused to sell him to Tottenham.
Sawyers and Berahino played together at youth level and Smith said: "He is a bright boy and I'm sure he will be advising Saido to sort his situation out.
"I brought Romaine here on loan for a month at the end of a season.
"He played for 25 minutes, which would have frustrated a lot of people.
"But I saw enough of him in training and in his attitude to know that he was a good kid.
"That's what made me bring him back when he got released from West Brom, and in terms of his attitude I have never found him anything but a pleasure to work with."
