West Bromwich Albion will offer £250,000 for Tranmere Rovers starlet Dale Jennings.
The Daily Star says West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo has targeted Jennings for a move to the Premier League club after rave reviews from his scouting team.
The former Liverpool trainee, who celebrates his 18th birthday today, made his first-team debut for the League One outfit just three months ago.
And Di Matteo is ready to take a gamble on the striker next month - and then loan him out to a Championship club for the rest of the season.
