West Brom boss Tony Mowbray has cooled his interest in Tottenham midfielder Adel Taarabt.

The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies were keen to take him on loan but Mowbray is keen to keep his powder dry for now as Albion are only allowed two domestic loans, which may be needed to strengthen Albion's backline or attack, especially if Kevin Phillips leaves.
