West Bromwich Albion are currently considering a swoop for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva, according to reports from A Bola.

Silva was widely touted to make a move to Leicester City this summer but the deal fell through after Sporting increased their asking price of the midfielder at the last minute.

Despite the summer saga, Silva has been continuously linked with a move to the Premier League and now according to reports in Portugal, claims have been made that Albion are ready to splash the cash in order to secure the services of the 27-year-old in January.
