When West Bromwich Albion's players and staff jetted off to Barcelona for a three-day trip, many assumed they were looking to get in some good training.
Albion are struggling to remain in the Premier League, and it appeared Pardew was using the trip to get his players some warm weather so they could improve the quality of their training and performance.
However, the trip quickly turned into a farce, with some West Brom players getting in trouble with the authorities after "stealing" a taxi from a restaurant. It appears some players, including Gareth Barry and Jonny Evans, "borrowed" the taxi back to the hotel without the taxi driver.
The players are facing charges, and the manager is not looking too good either.
Now it emerges that West Brom trained for a total of THREE HOURS during the entire three-day trip. It is news that will not sit well with the club's fans, or the owner.
