West Brom plan Aberdeen approach for Derek McInnes

Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes is being considered for the West Brom job.

The Sun says the Baggies are ready to move ahead of Rangers in the race to land McInnes.

The Baggies are expected to ask Aberdeen for permission to speak with their manager this week.

The Premier League club are keen to talk with a list of candidates before appointing a successor to Tony Pulis.

Scotland target Michael O'Neill is the favourite to take over at The Hawthorns and last night went odds-on with one bookie.

Nigel Pearson, Ronald Koeman, Slaven Bilic, Sam Allardyce and Alan Pardew are also in the frame.
