West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis is continuing to pursue Wigan winger Callum McManaman despite being unsuccessful with two offers. Pulis has also spoken to Manchester United's Darren Fletcher and remains hopeful over McManaman.
"It is going on along with two or three others," he said, ahead of Saturday's FA Cup fourth round trip to Birmingham.
"We are exploring the situation to see if we can bring him in.
"We need to decide if it's a good deal for us or not and it has to be right for everyone.
"The clubs have to agree but it's got to be right for the player as well."
