West Bromwich Albion have entered talks with Dnipro midfielder Derek Boateng.
The Mirror says Boateng is set to leave FC Dnipro for £2m after being sent off for pushing an opponent who allegedly abused him.
Fulham tried and failed to sign Boateng in January, and the Baggies were linked with him during Roy Hodgson's reign.
Dnipro are now willing to sell and Albion sporting director Dan Ashworth is working on a deal after releasing the versatile Paul Scharner.
