Graham Dorrans is unlikely to be sent out on loan in January according to West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke.
Reports have suggested that the Scotland international may be looking for regular football away from The Hawthorns but Clarke is of the belief that he is prepared to stay and fight for his spot in the Albion line-up.
"No. I involve him in training every day and he works hard," Clarke said in response to loan rumours.
"I have had a good chat with Graham and he understands the situation. We will keep working together.
"The January window at the moment seems a long way off. I know it's not in terms of weeks, but at the moment, in terms of games, it is a long way off."
