West Brom No2 Eddie Newton says the current squad is already well-suited to the Premiership.

Newton believes the Premier League will offer Albion's players a better stage to show off their talents.

He said: "The gap to the top six or seven is getting bigger, but staying in the Premier League is definitely attainable.

"I think this squad is more suited to the Premier League than it is to the Championship."
