West Brom assistant coach Ben Garner says their summer arrivals have made a positive impact.
Grzegorz Krychowiak, Jay Rodriguez, Oliver Burke, Kieran Gibbs, Gareth Barry and Ahmed Hegazi all moved to The Hawthorns in the summer.
“Firstly and importantly they fitted into the group very well. Good characters, good attitudes," said Garner, who worked under Tony Pulis at Crystal Palace before following his boss to the West Midlands last September. “In that respect training has been very good, the camaraderie has been very good and they're good players. The overall quality of the group has definitely got better.
“There's more strength in depth now and that has meant some players are not playing as much as they would like. In that instance they've been fantastic."
