West Bromwich Albion will cough up £4 million to sign permanently on-loan Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The Daily Star says the Baggies will fork out £4m for keeper Foster in the summer if neighbours Birmingham fail to get back in the Premier League.
All bets are off if Chris Hughton can pull off the seemingly impossible dream and clinch promotion after being forced to sell off the club's best players.
Former England keeper Foster, 28, joined the Baggies in the summer in a loan deal that took Boaz Myhill the other way.
