West Bromwich Albion midfielder George Thorne is refusing to get down over his knee injury.

Thorne faces eight months of rehab before he can play again.

He told the Express & Star: "I waited a while to get my regular break into the first team and I featured in the last eight games before it happened, so it's a huge blow on a personal level.

"But it happens. So I'm just going to focus on getting back fit."
