West Brom midfielder Scharner targets 10-year Premier League mark

Paul Scharner wants to stay long-term at West Bromwich Albion.

His six-year milestone looming in December this year having moved to England with Wigan in 2005.

The midfielder, who is out of contract at The Hawthorns next summer, said: "I am 31 now and my first ambition is to play for a decade in the English Premier League.

"I have played here for six years now and I still need four years to complete 10 in the Premier League. That is my main target.

"At the moment I am an Albion player, I am very happy and there is no need to change anything. So let's just see what the future brings."
