West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison is delighted with their season turnaround.
Albion are now in prime position to finish as the midlands' highest-placed club in the Barclays Premier League.
It is a major turnaround in fortunes after collecting 19 points from 11 games under head coach Roy Hodgson.
Morrison said: "We just wanted to finish as high as possible and, to be fair, the manager has been saying 'can we finish as the highest-placed midlands club?'
"I think it's for the fans, so they've got the bragging rights, and we've done well this season.
"It shows how far we have come as a team. We've got some good players and a lot of teams this year have under-estimated us.
"It is important next year that we can kick on and again next year is again going to be about surviving."
