West Brom midfielder Krychowiak: Emery attitude towards me just incomprehensible

West Brom midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak admits falling out with PSG coach Unai Emery left him baffled.

The Pole followed Emery from Sevilla to Paris last year.

Krychowiak told Przeglad Sportowy: "You know, I've talked a lot with Unai Emery. The coach thought that I did not have my place in the team ... I was disappointed by Emery and I told him face to face what I thought but I will not tell you about it.

"When he said that I had not adapted to the level of the team? I understand what the coach meant, but in such a short time it's complicated to do it for a defensive midfielder. Emery told me that, in my position, I had to play like Sergio Busquets. I realized right away that I was not the right player to fulfill the expectations he had in me.

"After our relationship in Sevilla, everything that happened in Paris is even more incomprehensible to me."
