West Brom hope to land Burnley winger Chris Eagles in a swap deal.

The People says Burnley are reluctant to sell the former Manchester United winger, who has helped them to the Carling Cup semifinals, but would listen to an offer of £1million plus Craig Beattie.

Former Celtic striker Beattie has been unable to nail down a first-team spot with the Baggies since arriving in July 2007.
