West Bromwich Albion have made an offer for Lyon striker Frederic Piquionne.
The Birmingham Mail says Albion are understood to have tabled a bid for Lyon's former Portsmouth striker Piquionne.
The 31-year-old is thought to be available at around £1 million having spent last season on loan at Fratton Park.
He scored 11 goals in all competitions, including five in the Premier League and a brace that dumped Blues out of the FA Cup.
