Schalke's Dennis Aogo has emerged on the radar of West Bromwich Albion.
The Daily Mail reports that Tony Pulis is attracted to the 30-year-old's versatility, in that he can also play in midfield, and availability, as he is out of contract with Schalke this summer.
It is understood that Albion sent scouts to watch Aogo earlier this month and are likely to pursue the 12-time Germany international.
The Baggies are also in the market for a new centre-back, striker and winger, with Sampdoria defender Milan Skriniar and Montpellier forward Steve Mounie also in their sights.
