Jay Simpson will begin his loan spell for West Brom at Aston Villa knowing any points from the Villa Park game will help Albion's Premier League prospects, while also aiding parent club Arsenal. "I'm excited by the Villa game," the 20 year old told the Birmingham Mail.
"They've broken into the top four, at Arsenal's expense, and are a good young side, but anyone can beat anyone at this level. We need to focus on getting three points against them.
"I'd never thought about helping Arsenal because I'm here now and this is my main focus, but if we can go there and win then that is bound to help them."
