West Bromwich Albion are in talks with Chelsea for Demba Ba.
The Sunday Times says Baggies boss Steve Clarke hopes to take Ba on-loan for the new season.
He hopes his relationship with Chelsea and Jose Mourinho will help West Brom secure a deal. Clarke was formerly a player with the Stamford Bridge club and later assistant coach under Mourinho and Avram Grant.
