Aussie defender Jason Davidson has gone AWOL from Heracles Almelo's preseason training camp.
The left-back is in a contract dispute with his Dutch club and Voetbal International says he's skipped their training camp to fly to England.
West Bromwich Albion are keen to snap up the left-back, but Heracles Almelo are adamant any interested club must cough up a fee for the World Cup veteran.
"Because he has not reported on Monday, Jason has not fulfilled his obligations. From what I understand, he is in England looking for a new club," revealed chairman Jan Smit.
"Maybe that offers a solution."
Davidson is the son of former Australia and Nottingham Forest fullback Alan Davidson.
