West Bromwich Albion legend Tony Brown says its crucial they keep hold Saido Berahino.

Berahino is crucial to the club's progress next season according to the man who blasted 279 goals for the club between 1961 and 1981.

Bomber told the Birmingham Mail: “He is a good finisher. You give him a chance and he will put it away - that's the quality of the lad.

“I just hope he stays at the club because if you take his goals away then we really are struggling.

“Goalscorers are at a premium now. There's not many of them about.

"There's a lack of top quality finishers about and we've got one and I just hope he stays and scores a few more for us this coming season."
