West Bromwich Albion are hoping to sign Morgan Amalfitano on a permanent deal.
The Baggies reportedly agreed a £1.7million fee with Marseille when they took the French midfielder on a season-long loan and are keen to make that deal go through after his good early form at The Hawthorns.
Amalfitano's representatives and Albion are believed to be negotiating a long-term contract for the 28-year old who scored a wonderful goal in the weekend's 2-1 win over Manchester United.
