West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is ready to join the battle for Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood.
Villa are making Harewood available for £2 million and Stoke City are regarded as favourites for the former Nottingham Forest striker.
Mowbray is turning to Harewood after loan talks for several foreign strikers have stalled. Middlesbrough and Bolton are also interested in £2m-rated Harewood.
