West Bromwich Albion have been linked with an interest in Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazy.
The 26-year-old is currently plying his trade at Al Ahly, and the Daily Mail claims that the Baggies have expressed an interest in a season-long loan move.
The 6ft 5ins central defender has 39 caps for his nation, and he has represented Serie A side Fiorentina in the past.
Tony Pulis' side were also interested in a loan move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, but the reports suggest that they have withdrawn their interest due to a hefty loan fee of £8m.
