West Brom are already preparing for next season with squad building plans now in place.

The Baggies are eyeing FC Basle defender Léo Lacroix for a summer move as they prepare for life in the Championship.

RMC says West Brom are in contact with Lacroix's agents to register their interest.

The 26 year-old Swiss is on-loan at FCB this season from Saint-Etienne - though Basle will not be pursuing a permanent deal.

Instead, Lacroix will be offered the chance to join West Brom in the Championship next season.
