West Bromwich Albion management have held peace talks with striker Peter Odemwingie.
The Daily Mail says the striker and his advisers met club officials on Wednesday to try to bring a halt to the conflict, and more talks are planned for Friday.
In the meeting, Odemwingie expressed his upset at his treatment by the club during his now-infamous proposed move to QPR.
The striker, reluctant to agree to a proposed loan move to Crystal Palace, feels West Brom reneged on a gentleman's agreement to let him leave for £3.5million.
The club hope a deal can be reached on Friday . The striker trained this week but has not apologised to the board.
