West Brom go hunting for emergency keeper signing

West Bromwich Albion are expected to seek permission to sign a new goalkeeper this week.

West Brom No1 Ben Foster has been ruled out for six months with a cruciate knee injury.

Foster's understudy Boaz Myhill kept goal during West Brom's 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on Saturday and the Wales international is now set for an extended run in the side for the rest of the season.

The only available understudies to Myhill are 20-year-old Jack Rose and teenager Ethan Ross.
