West Bromwich Albion may drop their pursuit for QPR winger Matty Phillips.
The London Evening News says West Brom are considering ending their attempts to sign Phillips because of QPR's £10million asking price.
West Brom had a £5million bid turned down last week, but were hoping to carry on negotiating and come to a compromise.
However, Rangers are refusing to lower their valuation of the Scotland international, who has two years remaining on his contract.
