West Bromwich Albion are ready to move for Birmingham City boss Chris Hughton.
The Sun says Albion's chairman Jeremy Peace has made Hughton his No 1 target to replace Roy Hodgson.
Hughton just missed out on the Hawthorns job last year but is back in the frame now Hodgson has become the new England chief.
Roberto Martinez, Paul Lambert and Michael Appleton were all on the Baggies' short-list.
But Hughton has impressed by taking Birmingham to the Championship play-offs despite the club's financial woes.
