Saido Berahino is facing an uncertain future at West Bromwich Albion.
The 22-year-old striker vented his frustration at not being sold to Tottenham on deadline day by claiming on Twitter that he would never play for Albion chairman Jeremy Peace again.
That has thrown Berahino's Baggies future into doubt after the West Midlands club did not accept any of Tottenham's four reported offers despite holding talks with the North London outfit for four months.
Peace released a statement after Tuesday's 6pm deadline indicating that Spurs had acted poorly in their pursuit of the England U21 international who was believed to be absolutely discontent regarding his failed move to White Hart Lane.
It remains to be seen whether or not Berahino, who has missed Albion's last two Premier League matches, will be reinstated to Tony Pulis' squad when the domestic competition returns after the international break.
