West Brom are furious over Watford's cheeky £1m offer for Ben Foster.

The Mirror says the former England international is wanted by the Hornets, who plan to move fellow goalie Costel Pantilimon on to one of Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa to make space for him.

But Foster has two years left on his current contract and the relegated Baggies are angry that Watford have unsettled the 35-year-old with such a low bid.

They value him at around £10m-£12m, and maintain they will not be browbeaten into selling for any less.
