West Bromwich Albion defender Nicky Shorey says defeat to Wigan Athletic was their worst defeat of the season.
The Baggies left-back, who returned to the side following an ankle injury, was disappointed to lose out to Victor Moses' 70th-minute winner in a tight encounter at the DW Stadium.
"It's disappointing to lose a game," Shorey told the WBA website.
"It looked like a stalemate but they caught us on the break which was disappointing. We should have been set up better than we were.
"We have to learn our lessons but it's disappointing to go to Wigan and lose given how we've been doing. We know it's a tough league but we have to do a lot better than we did in that one instance.
"Wigan limited us and we did them - it looked like a draw. We have to make sure we don't do it again. It's frustrating that we've not kept a clean-sheet for so long.
"We were too sloppy in that one instance. Blackpool was unfortunate, being two men down. We could have done without that.
"That forced us to reshuffle for Manchester City so I'm not too disheartened.
"Saturday was a big blow though."
