Billy Jones has no problem West Bromwich Albion seeking more competition for his right-back spot.

The Baggies are scouring the market for full-backs and are expected to recruit new personnel this summer.

"The club are looking to improve the squad, I know that," Jones told the Birmingham Mail.

"West Brom want to move forward as a club and by moving forwards you've got to sign new players for competition for places.

"I imagine new players will come in, maybe a new right-back, who knows.

"From a personal point of view I can only think about myself and the gaffer and the club know what I can do and what I've brought this year and what I bring."
