West Brom fear losing Egypt defender Ahmed Hegazy.
The Daily Mail says the Baggies can activate a £4.4m clause to sign Hegazy on a permanent deal at the end of the season as part of the loan agreement with parent club Al Ahly.
However, rival Premier League teams, Leicester among them, are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old centre-half with a view to a summer move.
Hegazy has been an ever present for West Brom in the Premier League this season, starting in all 14 of their games.
Indeed, the Midlands club are understandably keen on triggering the option to sign Hegazy on a permanent basis in the summer.
