West Bromwich Albion have partnered with Sportego, a global fantasy sports developer platform, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The deal sees Sportego become the club's official fantasy partner and Sportego, which launched in the UK this week, will develop an app specifically for West Brom's supporters, with features including a fantasy soccer game based around the team's league fixtures for the 2015/16 season.
The app will be available on IOS and Android devices.
Fans will be able to play the game in real time, compete against friends and fellow supporters and given opportunities to win match tickets through the fantasy game.
George Harborne, the head of partnerships at West Bromwich Albion, added: "Securing Sportego as our first official fantasy partner is a real coup in what is becoming an increasingly active and competitive market.
"Sportego and West Bromwich Albion share mutual objectives, therefore we are both very much looking forward to delivering and developing the partnership. We hope the fans will enjoy the WBA Fantasy 5 offering."
