West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis says the club will create a pre-season programme for the players involved in international competition this summer.
Saido Berahino will represent England at the U21 European Championships at the end of the season while Irish and Scottish players will also be involved in internationals.
Of those Baggies undertaking extra matches in the off-season, Pulis suggests it is important for them to continue with the club's training regime so they do not miss out on important club training.
"We have looked at what we have to do and what we haven't got to do and everything else. With respect it is not just him (Berahino) it is the Irish lads as well, and the Scottish lads, so we will sit them down next week with regards to what we give them," he said.
"The thing with pre-season, with the games you play, if you get them involved in all the games then it's difficult. But if you just get him to train and not be involved in the games then that might be a way around it. I don't like them missing pre-season."
