West Bromwich Albion are expected to face competition in their pursuit of Bram Nuytinck with Borussia Monchengladbach and a number of other clubs showing considerable interest.
The 22-year old NEC Nijmegen centre-back has emerged as a summer target for the Baggies but German Bundesliga outfit Monchengladbach are also keen, as are Dutch powerhouse Ajax, and Italian clubs Juventus and Napoli.
West Brom are unsure of the futures of Swedish defender Jonas Olsson and his Romanian counterpart Gabriel Tamas so new boss Steve Clarke is looking for a possible replacement which appears to be Nuytinck.
