West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is eyeing Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.
Defoe is a confirmed target for QPR manager Harry Redknapp this week.
However, the Baggies are also keen and Clarke will pounce should Spurs show a willingness to sell.
