West Bromwich Albion are tracking Lorient midfielder Alaixys Romao.
The 28 year-old Togo international has been tracked by Baggies football chief Dan Ashworth this year, says Mercato365.
Attractive to Ashworth is Romao, 28, can also play in defence and would be the ideal replacement for Paul Scharner.
