West Brom expecting extra creativity from Sessegnon, Amalfitano, Anichebe

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke suggests his three deadline day signings will bring plenty of attacking spark to the side.

The Baggies signed Stephane Sessegnon from Sunderland, Victor Anichebe from Everton and Morgan Amalfitano on loan from Marseille on Monday and Clarke is expecting some extra quality in the final third as well as some added creativity.

"We needed to strengthen in the forward areas and we're very hopeful that Stephane and Victor will fit the bill," Clarke told the club's official website. "He creates chances for others as well as scoring his fair share of goals.

"Along with Morgan, I'm hoping Stephane will add more creativity to the team."

On Anichebe he added: "Victor is a different kind of striker to what we already have here.

"He is a big, strong, powerful targetman. He is the type of forward we identified that we needed to help us this season."
