West Bromwich Albion have reportedly joined the race for Everton defender John Heitinga.
The Dutch international is being linked with a January departure from Goodison Park with West Ham United already showing plenty of interest while Stoke City are also keen.
However, new Baggies boss Pepe Mel is keen on Heitinga who has played just once in the Premier League for the Toffees under Roberto Martinez this term.
