West Bromwich Albion are on the verge of signing Callum McManaman from Wigan Athletic.
Sky Sports reports that the Baggies have returned with an improved bid for the 23-year old midfielder after having a £4million proposal rejected last week.
West Brom have been keen on McManaman for some time and will reportedly finalise a contract once the player agrees personal terms.
Former Everton youth McManaman has recently been linked with Hull City but it appears as though Tony Pulis will land the former England U20 international early in the week.
