West Bromwich Albion have ended their pursuit of Preston North End goalkeeper Andy Lonergan.
The Daily Mail says Albion have scrapped their plan to sign Preston goalkeeper Lonergan after having a 'third and final' offer rejected.
The Midlands club are now competing with Burnley for Sheffield Wednesday's Lee Grant after Burnley's proposed loan of Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster stalled.
