West Bromwich Albion defender Gabriel Tamas admits he wants a move to Lazio.
The Romanian centre-half has virtually conceded his Albion future.
"It would be a dream to play in Italy and Lazio," said Tamas, speaking to the Italian media.
"I will not talk of negotiations, other people are dealing with that, but it is normal to hope that everything goes well.
"I'm waiting for news from my attorneys.
"Those who really want to know me should ask Roberto Di Matteo.
"He was my coach at West Bromwich and I have a great relationship with him.
"I found myself doing really well under him and he knows me well.
"I hope that something can be arranged soon between West Brom and Lazio.
"Serie A is a new challenge and a League I would like to measure myself in if I am to have no future at West Bromwich."
