West Brom defender Jonny Evans wants Man City over Arsenal

West Brom defender Jonny Evans is eager to move to Manchester City.

The Sun says Arsenal had been hoping to land the Northern Ireland international in a bid to replace the outgoing Shkodran Mustafi.

Despite only signing last summer, Mustafi looks set to join Inter Milan on a season-long loan, with a view to a permanent deal.

Now Arsene Wenger had turned his attention to the former Manchester United defender, knowing City boss Pep Guardiola had already seen two bids turned down.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis is holding out for at least £30 million for his star centre-back.

However, while Arsenal and Leicester are both keen on the defender, Evans, 29, has his heart set on Manchester City.
