West Brom defender Neil Clement concedes he's out for the season with a knee injury.

"The injury is progressing along," said Clement, who has not played since the final pre-season friendly against Real Mallorca in August but had harboured hopes of returning in May.

"I'm pleased with the way things are going. I'm back running now, which is great. It's nice to be out of the gym, be outside and be running.

"I think realistically I've got to write off this season. If I rushed back I could do myself some damage."
