James Chester is eager to impress in what is likely to be a rare start for West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

The 26-year-old defender joined the Baggies from Hull City for £8million in the summer but has started just once in the Premier League for a total of five appearances in all competitions.

Chester is desperate to receive regular game time as he strives to make the Wales squad for Euro2016 and will look to impress any possible suitors when Albion host Bristol City in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.

The Daily Mail reports that Tony Pulis is prepared to offload the former Manchester United youngster so he can go about strengthening his 12th-placed squad for the second half of the campaign and the player is determined to perform well on the weekend so as to put himself in the shop window.
