West Brom defender Leon Barnett has handed manager Tony Mowbray a big boost.
Barnett could come into contention against Wigan Athletic this weekend after launching his comeback from knee surgery by playing 90 minutes for the reserves against Chelsea on Monday evening.
The former Luton player has not tasted first team action since being a late replacement for Abdoulaye Meite, who was injured in the warm-up, against Aston Villa in late September.
